The Texas Appraiser Licensing & Certification Board (TALCB) understands that becoming a licensed appraiser can be difficult. Minimum federal requirements consist of hundreds of hours of education, thousands of hours of experience, and an exam; also, each state has a right to impose its own requirements.

The Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Boards (TALCB) final quarterly meeting of the year opened with goodbyes. The Board recognized Board Member Clayton Black (pictured, right) for his 10 years of service with the agency. Blacks first appointment to the Board was in February 2013.
